Snow Storm!

"Unfortunately, our weekend away was cut short by a power outage and in the middle of a snow storm, we had no heat and no way out. We called Martin throughout the ordeal in a panic because we had our tropical birds with us and worried they would not survive. Even though it was thanksgiving day, he always answered our phones and helped us find our way out the next day. He even had someone help plow us out. Many hosts would not do that. Although our vacation was ruined by the power outage, I am grateful martin was our host and did everything he could to help us. I would definitely stay at his cabins again.he also refunded us for having to leave early. Thank you so much!"

Cozy and Quaint!

The cabin was exactly what we wanted, cozy, quaint and somewhat remote. The Christmas lights and mini tree were such a nice touch and warm welcome. We had plenty of linens, pillows, blankets, etc and the games in the closet were an added bonus. Martin was extremely responsive to every message I sent and made us feel welcome before we even arrived. The cabin is close enough to local stores and a small drive to Lake Arrowhead or Big Bear Lake. I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a quiet, cozy mountain getaway!

Fishing trip

This cabin was cozy (but not too small) for our family of 4. It has a homey feel, and you can tell that it is loved... not just a rental property. It has a nice kitchen/dining/family room, and a big deck. It’s a very short walk to the lake, which is stocked with rainbow trout all summer long. We stayed for a weekend fishing trip, but the location is a fairly short drive to the ski resorts, so it’s worth considering for a winter getaway.

Nature all around

We loved our stay at Martin’s cabin at Green Valley Lake. The cabin was very cozy and comfortable. It really had a great relaxing vibe and it felt like home. Our kids loved the bunk beds and the tv in their room. The living room large window nook was my personal favorite spot in the house. The nature around the cabin was amazing and the lake was so beautiful and peaceful. We fell in love with this area that we had not visited before (been to Big Bear many times before). Thank you Martin for your hospitality!

BBQ and Firepit...

Martin's cabin was truly a beautiful experience. the decor was so cute and cozy and instantly felt like home. The cabin was exceptionally clean when we arrived and had everything we needed for our stay. I love lighting the fireplace during the evening and relaxing with a glass of wine. The outside deck was huge, pretty much half of the size of the house. we enjoyed grilling dinner on the grill and sitting by the fire pit out doors. It was such a peaceful get away and I would love to come back! Thank you Martin for being so kind!
