The house sits at walking distance from a lake, perfect for fishing in the summer. It’s also only 15 minutes away from the snow resort, perfect during the winter months. Whether you are looking for adventure like mountain biking, kayaking, and rock climbing, or if you like relaxing by the lake with a fishing pole, or sipping hot chocolate by the fireplace, the Secret Cozy Lake House is perfect for you!
The lake house is walking distance to green valley lake; there is a general store and The Malt shop our local restaurant.
We are also only 10 minutes from Running Springs and 20 minutes to Big Bear and Lake Arrowhead in each direction. We are centrally located to explore the whole mountain. But most people just hang out at the lake and relax in Green Valley Lake.
Per our short term rental permit, all guests must dispose of their own trash outside with the cans provided. If any trash is left behind we will charge a $50 fee to pay our house cleaner to dispose of. If you are departing on a Sunday, there is a local trash drop off site in town next to the fire station on Green Valley Lake road.
During winter months, please remember to bring snow chains. We do our best to plow the driveway. However, we may not get to it every time. Guest may request to get the driveway plowed prior to arrival for an additional fee of $50.00
During the summer months, you may access the lake and go fishing. Fishing licenses and permits can be purchased at the general store.
We have installed a ring and security cameras outside for your safety and to let us know when we need to plow the snow in the driveway.
