March

March - Polar Plunge (Postponed - TBD)

Run, walk, or dance into the chilly waters of Big Bear Lake to raise funds for Special Olympics Inland Empire. For just a minimum of $50, you can participate in the coolest event of 2023 - the Polar Plunge. Not only will you brave the cold waters, but you'll have the opportunity to earn incentives, party with friends, and be freezin' for a reason: to help support Special Olympics.

Throughout March - Skiing and snowboarding at Snow Valley Mountain Resort

From the steeps of Slide Peak to long cruising intermediate trails to the region’s best beginner terrain to Southern California’s only chairlift serviced sledding area, Snow Valley has something for everyone during winter. In addition to our fantastic terrain, Snow Valley’s award winning Learning Centers offer lessons for all ability levels and ages.

May 14 - Mother’s Day - Bring Mom to a vacation rental in the mountains!

May 19-21 - Spartan Trifecta Race Event

This event is a Trifecta Weekend, giving racers the ability to complete a Trifecta (Sprint 5K, Super 10K & Beast 21K) in just one weekend, plus you will qualify for the 2023 Trifecta World Championship in Sparta, Greece. May 26 - Lake Arrowhead Concert Series starts!

The summer concerts are held inside the Lake Arrowhead Village, a replica waterfront Alpine Village with over 100 shops and restaurants. This venue for concerts simply cannot be beat. Check back often HERE for the band line up!

June 3, July 8, Aug 5 – Corks and Hops begins!

Enjoy a Mardi Gras themed soirée with unique tastings from SoCal craft breweries & wineries, live music, New Orleans fare and pop-up vendors

June 18 - Father’s Day – Take Dad ziplining or axe throwing during his visit to a cabin!

Fly through the forest at speeds up to 35 mph on nine high-speed zipline runs that gradually become longer, faster and higher off the ground as you go. July 1 & 2 - Crestline Jamboree Days with Fireworks!

For 58 years Crestline is proud to have carried on this treasured tradition. From the beloved Mountain Fifes & Drums to floats from our local businesses, the Jamboree Days parade brings out the kid in everyone. The parade kicks off at 10am. Saturday, July 1 has FIREWORKS over the lake at 9:00 p.m.

July 4 - Fireworks Spectacular Big Bear

The Fireworks Spectacular explodes at 7,000' over Big Bear Lake every July 4th! Show time begins between 8:45-9:15 PM, runs approximately 30-40 mins, and is FREE to spectators.

August 5 - Tour de Big Bear

Southern California’s favorite ride! The Tour de Big Bear features legendary aid stations, beautiful mountain scenery and spectacular summer weather. With the Family Fun Ride, 25, 50, 70 and 100 mile courses plus the Dirty Cub and Dirty Bear 25 and 50 mile gravel rides, there’s a route for every cycling enthusiast!

August 5 - Green Valley Lake 5K/10K

Come ENJOY a quaint, pristine mountain community, lake run with forest vista views. Partially on pavement. Partially on forest service roads. Great views. Pines. Boulders. Beautiful terrain. The course takes you around the lake and up a gradual 400-foot elevation gain, climbing to an awesome overlook to make it just enough of a challenge. Pick from a 5k or 10K distance...or do BOTH if you really want some distance. Food available for purchase afterwards. Quality custom event shirts and finisher medals.
