The ULITMATE four-day winter itinerary to the mountains – with $100 OFF!

When visiting a place for the first time, putting together the perfect itinerary can be tough. Well, don’t worry, because we’ve neatly put together a perfect itinerary to enjoy the snow of the San Bernardino mountains this winter. Consider these loose travel plans that you can adjust according to your preferences. The good news is that the main towns and activities are easily accessible in the San Bernardino Mountains. So, if this itinerary is too jam packed with adventure just take an afternoon off to walk around the festive Lake Arrowhead or Big Bear.

But first, did you know Snow Valley is now under the same management as Bear Mountain and Snow Summit? This means you can purchase their Trifecta Pass and visit all THREE ski resorts in the same visit! Pretty cool, right?! And to help pay for your lift ticket we are offering $100 OFF your cabin stay when you use code “3nights” at www.GetLostInn.com!

Day One

Arrive at your cabin in the afternoon, unload your bags, and get yourself settled. If you haven’t stocked up on food, head into town to hit a grocery store so that you can whip up a tasty meal. Make a meal from our favorite vacation meals. No need to squeeze in any big plans today. Take the time to enjoy your cabin and the surrounding area. Don't forget your snow chains for the car.

Day Two

Morning - Fire up some coffee and have a nice breakfast before hitting the slopes at one of the three different Ski Resorts to choose from. You’ll have a full day of fun ahead of you, and the resort will have everything you need.

Evening - Gather around the fireplace and roast a few s’mores. Since you were outside all day on the slopes, consider having a family game night or pop a little popcorn and snuggle up for a movie night.

Day Three

Plan A - If you have a multi-day pass to the ski resorts, you can use this day to shred the slopes at one of the other resorts.

Plan B - If you were only skiing or snowboarding for one day then use this day to try snowshoeing or cross-country skiing at Rim Nordic, Southern California’s only cross country skiing area. They rent the skis and snowshoes on site and will even give you a quick tutorial before you head off into the winter wonderland.

In the evening, try one of our 10 favorite indoor cabin activities outlined HERE.

Day Four

Morning - Time to pack up the car and check out from your Get Lost Inn Cabin–we’re sad to see you go! Make a to-go lunch to take with you on your next activity.

Afternoon - On your way out of town, find a spot to have lunch and go sledding! Head to Snowdirft Tubing Park or Big Bear Snow Play - or go sledding in the hills, but make sure your car is completely off the road and not blocking snow plows. When you’re all tuckered out from sledding, pull out the lunch you made at the cabin and enjoy a picnic outdoors.
